Whitby Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New CEO

WHITBY (June 5, 2023) – The Whitby Chamber of Commerce (WCC) is proud to introduce its new Chief Executive Officer, Susanne Gagnon. Susanne has been with the WCC for over a year and a half in the role of Manager, Events & Communications and brings over 25 years of experience to her new role as CEO.

“Susanne comes with experience in membership-driven organizations, like the Canadian German Chamber of Commerce,” said Whitby Chamber Board President Andrew Scuse, “and I have no doubt she will thrive in her new position. Her passion for developing a strong membership experience will bring great value to all of our members.”

An entrepreneur in her own right, Susanne ran her own successful events agency for over a decade before joining the chamber. “I am proud to be part of the WCC team and I excited for the opportunity to serve as the CEO,” said Susanne. “ I feel very lucky to have worked with Natalie and the team for over a year and feel confident we can continue to make the WCC the gold standard for chambers in Ontario.”
