Whitby, Ont. – The Whitby Chamber of Commerce (WCC) will be welcoming Karl Baldauf, Vice-President, Policy & Government Relations at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), to address the WCC membership at the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act 2017 Summit. This two-hour event will allow guests to review this proposed legislation and identify the impacts.
The OCC has experienced a period of transformation during Baldauf’s time as Vice-President of Policy & Government Relations, and is firmly positioned as the province’s most credible and visible voice of business. He is one of Canada’s leading business advocates, advancing change through partnerships to achieve policy solutions that support the growth of Ontario’s economy, people and communities.
In addition to Baldauf’s presentation, Whitby business owners will address the crowd as part of a panel, providing their perspective on how the legislation will impact their business. A question and answer period will follow.
After the summit, guests will be provided with a light field-to-fork lunch from Durham College’s Centre for Food.
