When the Whitby Chamber of Commerce was created in 1928, it was made up of local business people who came together to create a voice to advocate for their rights, to compile their resources and to do business together.

Today, the Whitby Chamber is much more. It's a place for business people to learn together, grow together, a place to share a common voice, increase their financial resources and be the preeminent resource for local business to succeed. The Chamber supports all sizes and industries - small business, mature entrepreneurs, the not-for-profit sector, young entrepreneurs, exporters, consultants, the list goes on.

For 84 years, the Whitby Chamber has been a preeminent resource for business, community leaders, and those with a passion for entrepreneurship. It has changed and molded to the needs of its business community.
