Through-out the year the Chamber will hold special events, seminars, and workshops related to your business. These seminars are intended for you to learn, gain insight, and enjoy unique opportunities to network and build business relationships. Take advantage of the extra opportunities over the year to expand your mind!
2010 Opportunities
April/June/August/October - Networking 101 - this is a 4 part seminar series that helps you learn all the ins and outs of networking and building strong business relationships
May - HST Seminars - the Chamber hosted Revenue Canada and the Province of Ontario as they provided advise on how to work through the new HST tax being implemented and how it effects your business.
June/July - Workplace Violence & Harassment Workshops - the Chamber hosted 2 Workplace Violence workshops in partnership with Tracey Starrett of The Starrett Group. The chamber hosted these workshops to help business manage the changes to Ontario's Occupational Health & Safety Act, implimented in June 2010.
November 2010 - Accessibility Information Seminar - the chamber hosted 2 workshops in regards to the new Accessibility legislation in effect for 2011
Rapid Results Marketing - the Chamber sponsored a large full day workshop event in conjunction with Gerry Robert, renowed author and successful business man.
