Evernote: Evernote is an extremely useful productivity app. It allows users to document their ideas the moment they strike with audio recordings, text documents, or photos. It also allows all saved data to be searchable, meaning if you're out researching new computers, you can take a photo of the spec sheet and then bring it up later by searching since the app can read text inside images.

Vlingo: A virtual assistant app like Siri for those who don't have an iPhone 4S. Vlingo is a free app that allows users to dictate texts and emails, browse the web, look up contacts, and more. Contains Facebook and Twitter integration.

WorldMate: A great free app for business travelers – Worldmate manages your flights, hotels, car rentals, and meetings – and automatically syncs the information to your mobile device. Even contains a tip calculator and currency converter

Documents to Go: An app that allows users to view and edit Office documents on their phones. Allows users to view, create, and edit Word and Excel documents, while users can view Powerpoint documents with the basic version.

LogMeIn: This app allows users to remotely control their PC or Mac using their iPhone or iPad. This app is great for travelers or users who need to pull up files on their computers from remote areas.

Dragon Dictation: Allows users to record audio into the app, which will transform the audio into text. It boasts a 99% accuracy. Great for creating long emails or short texts using only your voice.
